PJP is proud to support Rough Edges at Darlinghurst, which helps to support people experiencing homelessness and loneliness in Sydney. A group of us volunteer at Roughies every fortnight, and on Friday 25 October Felicity and Vanessa braved the wilds of Darlinghurst at the annual Roughtober fundraiser.
Their team, “Flick’n HomelessNess” slept rough for one night and helped to raise over $123,000 to support the amazing work of Rough Edges. That will help fund operations over the next year, including the launch of a new initiative – Banksia Women – to support victims of domestic and family violence.

In May 2019, our team of volunteers completed their training to join Rough Edges in supporting the community in Darlinghurst.
In February, we donated to help the research of Macquarie University’s ‘Fishlab’ and adopted two Port Jackson sharks.
We are getting ready to compete in Palmera Projects’ Race to Raise, with donations supporting entrepreneurial women taking on social and financial leadership in villages of Sri Lanka.
In December, we joined our neighbours in Aurora Place in collecting for the Salvation Army’s Christmas Appeal.
Our Community Focus for November 2018 was Share The Dignity’s #itsinthebag campaign. PJP was proud to support the fantastic annual Christmas appeal for this Australian charity.
We were delighted to support Dress For Success Sydney as our October 2018 community focus.
