Community Focus Nov18
As our community focus for November 2018, we were pleased to support Share The Dignity as a collection point for their Christmas collection #itsinthebag. Donations came from within PJP and from a number of other generous organisations in the CBD – bags packed full of toiletries and everyday luxuries to help make life better for women and girls experiencing homelessness or poverty this Christmas.
The focus of Share The Dignity is to ensure that everyone is afforded the dignity that so many of us take for granted. Their work directly benefits women in crisis with practical, on-the-ground support for those who are homeless or experiencing domestic violence.
We are proud to have played our small part in supporting the hugely important work of this fantastic Australian charity.

In May 2019, our team of volunteers completed their training to join Rough Edges in supporting the community in Darlinghurst.
In February, we donated to help the research of Macquarie University’s ‘Fishlab’ and adopted two Port Jackson sharks.
We are getting ready to compete in Palmera Projects’ Race to Raise, with donations supporting entrepreneurial women taking on social and financial leadership in villages of Sri Lanka.
In December, we joined our neighbours in Aurora Place in collecting for the Salvation Army’s Christmas Appeal.
We were delighted to support Dress For Success Sydney as our October 2018 community focus.
