Community Focus Oct18
Our community focus for October 2018 was a donation drive to support the fantastic work of Dress for Success Sydney. We collected donations of gently used professional clothing and accessories and delivered them to the DFS sorting centre in Marrickville.
Dress for Success Sydney is a registered charity that aims to improve the employability of women in need in NSW by providing, free of charge, professional clothing, a network of support and the career development tools to help women achieve self-sufficiency.
The Dress for Success network of global affiliates share a mission to empower women to achieve economic independence. Port Jackson Partners is pleased to be able to make an impact and support this important work.

In May 2019, our team of volunteers completed their training to join Rough Edges in supporting the community in Darlinghurst.
In February, we donated to help the research of Macquarie University’s ‘Fishlab’ and adopted two Port Jackson sharks.
We are getting ready to compete in Palmera Projects’ Race to Raise, with donations supporting entrepreneurial women taking on social and financial leadership in villages of Sri Lanka.
In December, we joined our neighbours in Aurora Place in collecting for the Salvation Army’s Christmas Appeal.
Our Community Focus for November 2018 was Share The Dignity’s #itsinthebag campaign. PJP was proud to support the fantastic annual Christmas appeal for this Australian charity.
