Nathan first joined Port Jackson Partners as a graduate, and then left to spend time in investment, strategy and commercial roles with QIC and Rio Tinto both in Australia and internationally. Nathan returned to PJP in 2017 as an Associate.
Since rejoining PJP, Nathan has helped a large Energy Utility understand the strategic implications of Australia’s changing energy and electricity landscape, helped a financial services client to develop their strategy for a significant contract re-negotiation, and worked with a Government department to build an investment proposition.
Nathan has over 10 years of commercial experience and was most recently an Associate in QIC’s Global Infrastructure team where he was principally focused on the transport sector across transaction execution and asset management. Prior to joining QIC, Nathan was the Manager of Strategy & Development at Rio Tinto Energy. His other roles at Rio Tinto included Principal Advisor Business Development focused on M&A and divestment opportunities, and Mining Executive at South Gobi Resources at Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
Nathan commenced his professional career as a Business Analyst at Port Jackson Partners where he was a member of the team serving natural resources sector clients on key strategic issues.
Nathan has a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Commerce (First Class Honours) from the University of Queensland.
