Leaving my medical career was a difficult decision, and I wanted to work in an environment that both supported my transition and offered genuine opportunities to learn. PJP has facilitated this transition, making it possible to take part in discussions and problem solving far sooner than I had expected.
Lakshman joined PJP in 2018 after working as Medical Doctor for a number of years across the Westmead Hospital network in Sydney.
During his time at PJP, Lakshman has worked on projects across the insurance industry and energy policy, and has advised on the market-based delivery of national health services.
Lakshman has a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of New South Wales and completed overseas paediatric elective at Sick Kids Hospital Toronto. He has published research in BMC Paediatrics on Neonatal Intensive Care Unit parenteral nutrition.
