I've always been impressed by the firm’s dedication to solving the most complex and impactful problems facing Australian organisations. And I have been blown away by the intelligence and humility of people here, and love being part of a culture which never stops learning.
Doug joined Port Jackson Partners in 2017, after a number of engineering internships as a Process Automation Engineer, IC Design Engineer, and Applications Engineer.
Since joining PJP, Doug has worked on a range of projects across a number of different industries. Doug has helped to develop a refreshed business strategy and risk management strategy for the major business unit of a large Australian financial services company, worked with the Federal and State Governments on large-scale, industry specific policy interventions, and has assisted a large provider of private education in Australia to negotiate long-term funding arrangements with the Federal Government. Doug has also been able to leverage his interest and knowledge in the energy sector, working on projects with an energy retailer and also with government.
From September 2019, PJP have supported Doug in studying a Master of Environmental Economics at the London School of Economics. We are looking forward to welcoming Doug back to Sydney in early 2020!
Doug has a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (First Class Honours and co-op scholarship) from the University of New South Wales, and completed an exchange at Georgia Institute of Technology in the USA and a summer intensive in business strategy at Korea University.
